ABOUT TURNUP WACO
TurnUp Waco was founded by Hope Balfa and launched on January 1, 2023.What started as a single class grew into a full studio and a community of women showing up for themselves through movement, confidence, and connection. After taking a sabbatical in 2025, TurnUp Waco is back—reimagined, but rooted in the same energy and intention that built it from the beginning.Hope has been leading group fitness since 2011 and brings a background in social work, life coaching, and community-based healing into every class.This isn’t just about working out.It’s about creating a space where people feel safe to show up as they are—without judgment, without pressure, and without having to prove anything.TurnUp Waco is rooted in empowerment, mental wellness, and community. This space is intentionally inclusive and welcoming—especially for those who haven’t always felt seen or comfortable in traditional fitness environments.You don’t have to fit a mold to be here.

TurnUp Waco: Drop-In Terms & ConditionsAll purchases for classes, packages, class packs, workshops, store items, and merchandise are final, non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be extended beyond the expiration date.Everyone must purchase and sign-up for drop-in classes either on the PushPress app before arriving, or at the front Hub upon arrival (please see Staff for assistance).Everyone must check-in via the PushPress app on their device or at the front Hub to confirm sign-up.Drop-in class purchases may be used for any and all of the non-specialty Classes or special events on the Schedule (unless otherwise noted on the class schedule).Drop-in class purchases may not be used for special events & courses, specialty classes, workshops, etc. These are sold separately.Drop-in classes, workshops, specialty classes, membership packages, class packs, workshops, store purchases, and merchandise and other appointments cannot be shared between individuals. Family/household memberships and special group discounts may apply- see TurnUp Waco Staff for more information.Class Pack expiration dates and any others are shown under each item on PushPress.Please note the date of expiration for class packs when making your purchase.Classes, instructors, studios and class times are subject to change. There will be no refunds when there are changes but Participants will be given as much advance notice as possible, and reasonable accommodations will be made to ensure Participants are able to utilize class packs before/ despite expiry date if needed.Participants (membership and/or class-pack holders) are strongly encouraged to reserve their spot before classes since there is a maximum number of Participants that each class can hold.Cancellations must take place at least 2 hours before class (unless otherwise communicated with and agreed upon with the Class instructor).Late cancellation or no-showing 3 times within one month will prohibit Participants from being able to make reservations for a period determined by TurnUp Waco Management.No shows or late cancellations for special events will be charged a no show/late cancelation fee. This is up to the discretion of Management, and must take into consideration the financial constraints TurnUp Waco is under to cover business expenses in order to operate.If any Participant poses a risk or demonstrates abusive or harmful behavior toward any Participant or Staff (including mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, verbally, etc.), TurnUp Waco may at any time decide to terminate a membership, class pack, event registration, etc. with or without refund at the discretion of Management. This is in an effort to keep TurnUp Waco a safe, supportive space for all; including and especially those who are members of Constitutionally-protected classes.
